8 months old & parents' 10th wedding anniversary

So it's happened. I'm 8 months already. :-)
I can be carried on the back now. I can see so much more from here.
I can do so much more from here. :-)
Oh, and by the way, happy wedding anniversary to my mummy and daddy! Can you believe this photo was taken a decade ago? I can't!
Love you lots!!! May you admire plenty of beautiful sunsets like this one in the coming years!

Weekend with my parents' friends

O wspaniałym weekendzie spędzonym w towarzystwie Cioci Natalii i Wujka Tomka, o wspólnych zabawach, prezentach, bańkach mydlanych i chustowaniu.

It was a fab Bank Holiday weekend as auntie Natalia and uncle Tomek paid us a visit. Sadly their lovely daughters are still holidaying in Poland so they couldn't join us this time. We played quite a few games together and I had a proper laugh when auntie was throwing a ball to me. She kept on repeating, "Catch the ball" but I had no clue what she was talking about. :-) Uncle, on the other hand, was very good at making funny faces. Next time I'll take a few snaps for you. They were both impressed with my table manners as no food ended up on the walls.
Thank you so much for a massive box of cute clothes and lots of new toys! You are both so sweet...
Look at those leaves. My first autumn is coming.
We are going to blow some bubbles in a minute.
Pop, pop pop!
Before sunset.
We went for a stroll in the local area and look what they did to me. :-)

Kanishka lives locally. Kanishka comes to my playgroup. Kanishka and I share a birthday! Kanishka is my friend and she visited me lately.
You can't see it in the photos but we were pulling each other's hair and our mummies were very worried but it didn't hurt at all!
I was watching her crawling with great interest and trying to copy what she was doing while our mummies were talking about differences in raising a baby in the UK and in India. I was eavesdropping a little and it all sounded very interesting.
I hope to see Kanishka more often. :-)

Sunday in Blackheath

Very recently daddy became a bit more serious football fan and today he went to the pub to watch his favourite team play. One day, I'm sure, we'll go together but today mummy and I chose to go to Blackheath Common instead. There are just a few trees in the park but it doesn't really matter on a cloudy day, does it?
I'm standing up and it's a totally new perspective!
Putting my new teeth into work.
A proud Tottenham Hotspur fan with his daughter. We have won and it feels good.

One of the best toys I've got is Bilibo, which is six play shells that can be anything - a hat, a mask or a drum.
It is really up to you and your imagination!
I am planning to fill my Bilibo with food, sand, water and snow when I'm a little bit older.
Try out this link and watch the film. There are bigger ones for bigger children.
Can't wait!

Splish Splash!

I have officially grown out of my TummyTub and so had my first proper bath in a bathtub with mummy tonight.
At first it felt strange as, all of a sudden, there was so much water around me but I quickly got the hang of it and had a great time.
I think this might become my new favourite thing to do.
Also, since my last post I've made the following progress:
  • I can say "tata"
  • I can find my tata under a duvet
  • I can lick my parents' faces
  • I can stand up holding onto a chair
  • I can push off the table during meals
  • I can "jump" while lying down
  • I can lift one arm while in a crawling position
  • I can beat a rhythm on a box with my hand
  • I can show off my new teeth which are the top two middle ones
  • I can call out "mama" when I'm hungry in the middle of the night
See you later! :-)

Guitar evening with REM

Daddy thinks I'm quite musical so he is planning to play the guitar for me on a regular basis.
I love the idea!
Tonight he played one of his favourite albums.
I'm very pleased we're going to do that again soon. I wonder what repertoire he chooses next time.

By the way, I've been babbling "dadada" for a week now and "tatata" since yesterday. Did you know that "tata" means "daddy" in Polish? :-)

Picnic in Epping Forest

Yesterday was a lovely day. We spent it with auntie Maggie and tío Ruben in Epping Forest in north-east London.
Picnic time = Spanish omelette + potato fritters/placki ziemniaczane
I like to listen to auntie Maggie.
I like being carried by her.
I like to touch her hair.
And I like her shiny earrings.
But I'm yet to discover the beauty of the Spanish language... I seriously felt like crying when tío Ruben was talking to his mate on the phone. Oh dear!

Thank you for a great day. xx

Auntie Lucy's baby shower

I think the pool is going to be my favourite place from now on.
I had a chance to splish splash in one when visiting auntie Lucy in Surrey earlier this week.
She's 7 months pregnant, which means she's got a tiny baby in her tummy and soon she and uncle Shaun will have a little baby boy. And I'm going to have another friend to play with, yay!
They can be a little bit silly at times... but they are a very sweet couple.
Auntie is a teacher and you know what they are like. She didn't want to waste this great occasion and tried to teach me about up and down. :-)

First teeth

Daddy finally managed to take shots of my new teeth this morning so here they come.
The photos are quite similar but I couldn't just pick one.
Careful, I can bite now. :-)

Also, have you heard the latest?
Charlotte has her own blog! You can follow it here:

Good job, Charlotte! xx
