Camber Sands

Last weekend we packed up our cycles and drove to Rye, which is the most picturesque little town I have ever seen. But we didn't plan to spend a lot of time there as we were going elsewhere.

We made a brief stop at the lake and I picked up a few surfing tips.

Finally we arrived. Can you guess where I am? Camber Sands, here I come!

I have never seen that much sand in one place.

Sandy beaches aren't common in the UK so we felt lucky to be able to feel the warm sand under our feet.

Then we went towards the sea.

There were lots of shells, some crabs and even jellyfish to look at.

Sand turned into mud.

There was small water.

And big water.

And many, many loud seagulls.

It was a fabulous day at the sea and we will be back soon!
