Holidays in Fuerteventura

At the beginning of this month we went on a holiday to Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands.

I had a chance to play with lots and lots of sand on a few hot beaches during our stay there.

I enjoyed a few beach games, of course.

One day we visited a lagoon and walked in shallow water for hours on end or at least it felt like it. After the hard work, I took a nap on a beach blanket.

We saw many chipmunks in Fuerteventura. They move really fast!

We drove for an hour and a half on really bumpy roads to get to Cofete which must be the most beautiful beach around. There was hardly anyone there, just a handful of tourists and no locals. And the truly magnificent mountains of Jandia behind us.

We absolutely loved Canarian wrinkly potatoes with mojo sauce. I mean mummy loved the potatoes and the sauce and I just loved the potatoes.
